Meeting #1 May 25, 2011
Items discussed:
* Comprehensive Theatre Auditions will be held Wednesday, June 1. Students may register by emailing Mrs. Vorreiter by Friday, May 27th. Positive attitude and commitment are needed for success.
* Important Dates for the 2011 2012 school year. Attachment was passed out. Please see calendar on the website for information on important dates.
* Fun Event - Little Shop of Horrors at The Show Palace starring Scott Daniel as Seymour and Matt McGee as The Dentist. Approx cost $30, Sunday June 12th. Includes meal. See Mrs. Vorreiter if you'd like to attend.
* We will produce a theatre department yearbook next year.
* Be aware of what you publish on facebook/social media. It is a public site and you do want to make sure you are not presenting a negative image. This is a suggestion, not a policy/rule...something to think about it.
* Summer Work Days - listed on the web calendar. All students in Comp and all thespians should attend. All are welcome.
* Start preparing for IEs now. It will slip up on us very soon once school starts. IEs are even earlier this year...Oct 15th.
* Round table discussion of show suggestions. Season 11 will be announced soon.
