Comprehensive Theatre is our COMPANY class. You must audition to get into the class. This class is a production oriented class and afterschool participation is mandatory. All students will be expected to attend district and state level competitions. There are fees associated with participation in productions and competitions. These will vary depending on the production and/or event. A payment plan will be made available to all students in comp theatre who would prefer to pay moderate amounts over an extended period of time. Students will also be allowed to "pay as you go." This is a personal choice and has no bearing on the actual cost of events. All students pay the same amount. Some just choose to spread the payments out over the course of the year. Your family can decide which option is best for you.
Make sure your schedules allow you to be at the rehearsals. Remember, after school participation is mandatory for this class. All class members are expected to work on EVERY Alonso Theatre production in some capacity. You will be asked to not only sing, act and dance, but also do tech work, house management, stage management and facility mainentance and organization.
